Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and administer Microsoft on-premises server and Azure cloud environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot VMware environments, including VMware vSphere and Horizon.
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and ensure system availability.
• Manage server disaster recovery, including planning, maintenance, and testing.
• Collaborate with users to address technology issues and escalations.
• Administer server patch management and change control processes.
• Act as a representative of the Networks & Infrastructure department, ensuring alignment with security and industry best practices.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of recent and practical server administration experience.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Server, Azure Cloud, and VMware environments.
• Experience with SCOM administration and disaster recovery planning.
• Understanding of on-premises and cloud integration architecture.
• Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s License (or equivalent) and willingness to travel.
