Responsibilities
Monitor and identify threats, trends, and incidents that could negatively impact TD Bank’s personnel, facilities, and operations.
Record and document security-related incidents, triage incidents, and provide escalation reports for critical events.
Ensure all incident reports are detailed, thorough, and compliant with IRC policies and procedures.
Consult with internal stakeholders, including risk functions, to document and improve security processes and protocols.
Actively monitor and facilitate security-related incidents, including coordinating with security guards and law enforcement if necessary.
Liaise with emergency services, fire departments, and law enforcement during security incidents or emergencies.
Responsible for detailed report writing, ensuring comprehensive documentation of incidents, escalations, and resolutions.
Prepare and maintain incident summaries and triage reports for management review.
Participate in security technology projects, including video monitoring and system retrieval.
Monitor access control systems and respond to alarm, breach, or malfunction events.
Collaborate with a 25-person team across different shifts to ensure effective response to security incidents.
Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team, supporting continuous improvement and process enhancements.
Support a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, handling sensitive security information with professionalism and discretion.
Communicate complex security data clearly and effectively to management and other teams.
Qualifications
Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in a security-related role, such as a 911 call center, alarm monitoring station, or security operations center (SOC).
Prior experience in a customer service or dispatch/incident triage role is essential.
Experience with call center operations or similar fast-paced environments.
Strong documentation and investigative skills, with the ability to write clear, detailed incident reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
Proven ability to interact effectively with customers and stakeholders, including handling sensitive or escalated situations.
Ability to work a variety of shifts in a 24-hour operation (Day, Afternoon, and Night shifts).
Flexibility to work different shifts as required by the team.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have)::
Experience with ServiceNow or similar service management platforms.
Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
Experience in the banking or financial services sector is a plus.
