What We’re Looking For:
Seeking a candidate with a Finance and Compliance background within an IT department.
Experience in Finance within a publicly traded company is crucial.
Familiarity with Information Systems or Information Technology terminology required.
Preferably from Manufacturing or heavily regulated industries (ie: Bank or Government; international exposure is a plus.
Analytical role involving budget preparation and financial data collection.
Hands-on involvement in financial operations, invoice management, and budget analysis.
Liaison with overseas central team, ensuring compliance and contract management.
Oversight of security segregation, audits, and disaster recovery policies.
Self-sufficient with no direct reports; strong communication skills essential.

Primary Responsibilities
IT Governance, Compliance & Financial Management Lead (60%)
Oversee day-to-day processes throughout the Americas Division.
Design and implement solutions to improve IT controls and policies.
Coordinate audit requests and manage IT contract procurement.
Analyze and report IT financial data and KPIs.
Strategy & Governance (35%)
Assist in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans.
Facilitate collaborative partnerships and ensure best practices.
Stay updated on regulatory concerns and IT trends.
People Development (5%)
Coach and manage third-party resources.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Four (4) year degree related to information technology and/or combination Finance experience
(5) years of experience in the information systems field with previous project management experience.
Good understanding of technical environments and cloud platform.
Considerable experience in aspects of the application development life cycle and broad understanding of current technology enablers.
2 years of relevant work experience in compliance, risk, or audit processes.
Effective in planning and organizing work, efficient in work habits, a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management techniques, including project planning and estimations, project budgeting, staffing, project control techniques, and status reporting.
Present a positive, professional image; good leadership and interpersonal skills required.
Effective communication and listening skills.
Demonstrate appropriate analytical skills, attention to detail and organizational skills.
Must be able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
Ability to make good decisions and support company policies in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
Must be self-motivated and client service oriented maintaining effective working relationships within a multi-cultural business environment.
Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
