We are seeking a meticulous and analytical individual to join our Finance team as an Inventory Control Coordinator. In this role, you will oversee the financial aspects of inventory management, ensuring accurate valuation, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will be pivotal in making informed decisions and upholding financial integrity across our organization.

Responsibilities
Handle help desk inquiries related to inventory control and resolve any identified issues and discrepancies.
Review and process daily inventory adjustments to ensure consistency and accuracy between different systems.
Investigate and determine the root causes of inventory discrepancies and take corrective actions.
Analyze warehouse cycle count and physical count procedures, performing daily audits to ensure systematic updates and accurate records
Work with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate inventory levels across various channels.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports for executive meetings, providing actionable insights rather than just raw data.
Compile quarterly reports and presentations to share financial insights and recommendations.
Document internal processes and workflows, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training guides.
Manage and organize files and key documents in the shared drive.
Participate in quarterly and annual inventory audits and year-end physical count procedures to ensure compliance with established controls and procedures.
Provide required documentation and explanations to auditors as needed.
Develop and enforce internal controls for inventory management to mitigate financial risks
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Being fluent in English and Spanish an asset
Prior experience in financial roles involving inventory management or supply chain operations
Skilled in financial analysis, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical abilities with excellent problem-solving skills
2-4 years of relevant work experience
