Responsibilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into user-centric SharePoint solutions
• Design, develop, and migrate intranet content and pages using SharePoint Online
• Customize SharePoint components such as web parts, lists, libraries, themes, templates, and workflows
• Troubleshoot SharePoint issues, providing first and second-level technical support and timely resolutions
• Optimize site navigation, structure, and content management practices for improved user experience
• Develop technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to support adoption and usability
• Participate in testing, quality assurance, and solution enhancements to ensure functional, user-friendly outcomes
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
• University graduation in computer science or a related discipline and 4 years of relevant experience; OR 2 years of relevant experience with a diploma in computer science or a related discipline and 6 years of relevant experience; OR 1 year of relevant experience with a certificate in computer science or a related discipline and 7 years of relevant experience; OR Currently active professional certification or accreditation and 8 years of relevant experience
• 2 years of experience as a Site Collection Administrator
• 2 years of experience troubleshooting forms and workflows (all types)
• 2 years of experience using and supporting ShareGate
• 2 years of experience using Microsoft SharePoint
• 2 years of experience with the development, integration, and support of Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online
Desirable Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in developing integrated system and technical design specifications on complex engagements
• 2 years of experience using PowerShell to manage Farm/Application/Site Collection/Site Features
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online admin portal, reporting, configuration, and administrative tasks
• 1 year of experience with the Government of Alberta's Information Technology/Information Management policies, standards and guidelines
• 2 years of experience with the use of Central Administration on a SharePoint environment
