Responsibilities
• Provide technical support for SharePoint 2016 On-Premise and SharePoint Online environments.
• Analyze business needs and create tailored SharePoint solutions.
• Offer both first and second-level support for SharePoint-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint site and application issues effectively.
• Conduct routine maintenance and updates to ensure system stability and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirements gathering and solution implementation.
• Develop and maintain essential documentation and training materials.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
• 4 years of relevant experience with a university graduation in computer science or a related discipline; OR 6 years of relevant experience with a 2-year diploma in computer science or a related discipline; OR 7 years of relevant experience with a 1-year certificate in computer science or a related discipline; OR 8 years of relevant experience with a currently active professional certification or accreditation.
• 2 years of experience as a Site Collection Administrator.
• 2 years of experience preparing and documenting materials for user acceptance testing.
• 2 years of experience troubleshooting forms and workflows (all types).
• 2 years of experience using and supporting ShareGate.
• 2 years of experience with complex SharePoint projects including solutions depending on: managed metadata, workflows, forms, and user interface customization.
• 2 years of experience with the development, integration, and support of Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online.
Desirable Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience applying patches/updates to SharePoint environments.
• 2 years of experience in developing integrated system and technical design specifications on complex engagements.
• 2 years of experience using PowerShell to manage Farm/Application/Site Collection/Site Features.
• 2 years of experience with disaster recovery testing.
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online admin portal, reporting, configuration, and administrative tasks.
• 1 year of experience with the Government of Alberta's Information Technology/Information Management policies, standards and guidelines.
• 2 years of experience with the use of Central Administration on a SharePoint environment.
• 2 years of experience with upgrading Microsoft SharePoint environments and migration of content.
