Responsibilities
• Liaises with business units and program areas to ensure solutions meet current and strategic ministry needs and requirements.
• Provide ServiceNow functional and technical expertise.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow modules to meet requirements ensuring the integrity and sustainability of system configuration.
• Execute internal testing (unit testing) and support UAT activities.
• Provide overall Technical Solution Quality Assurance (QA)
• Support warranty activities as required.
• Support transition to operations (hand off) to support teams.
• Provides and maintains technical documentation of design and changes.
• Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) and/or Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• Participates in agile delivery meetings.
• Able to quickly understand application functionalities and process.
• Handle and fix production defects efficiently.
• Provide tracking and reporting of time and status on all work as required.
• Identify and coordinate release schedules
• Ensure planned releases remain on schedule and on track
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
• College or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
• Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) and/or Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• 5 years of experience in designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting applications in a controlled production environment.
• 5 years of experience in ServiceNow configuration, customization and development.
• 5 years of experience in ServiceNow CSM module.
• 5 years of experience with ServiceNow platform
• 5 years of experience with software development processes, and all associated best practices, methods, standards, tools, and policies.
• 5 years of experience writing and maintaining technical documentation.
Desired Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience developing and maintaining web services, JSON REST API and Message queuing services using .NET C# services
• 2 years of experience with Contact Centre Platform
• 3 years of experience within a Public Sector organization.
• 3 years of experience with various software development methodologies (i.e. agile, waterfall, scrum, Kanban, etc.).
