Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and prioritize end-user requirements based on urgency and business needs
Design and build POS menus in line with established standards across supported platforms
Write and manage complex SQL queries and scripts for data processing and menu updates
Test and validate menu solutions, ensuring alignment with functional requirements
Prepare and maintain documentation, including release notes and technical references
Deploy menu updates and configuration changes, including PLU assignments
Monitor and resolve menu-related issues, escalating as needed to senior team members
Support fourth-tier issue resolution related to menu functionality and system behavior
Participate in team discussions to address challenges and develop improvements
Continuously upgrade technical skills through training, peer learning, and self-study
Qualifications
College certificate or university degree in Computer Science or related field
3–4 years of experience in QSR menu management or a similar environment
Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and joins
Familiarity with POS systems, UI/UX concepts, and content management tools
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with project tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps is an asset
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and stakeholders
Effective communicator via email, MS Teams, and other collaboration platforms
