Responsibilities
• Manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of enterprise solutions to modernize permit applications.
• Work closely with business clients and multiple IT divisions to ensure project success.
• Lead and support a multidisciplinary project team including internal staff, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and cost estimates to meet project goals.
• Ensure project risks are mitigated and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Oversee resource planning, team resourcing, and participation in procurement processes such as RFI and RFP.
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills:
• Five (5) years' IT project management experience (the majority of this experience should have been practiced in accordance with the generally recognized good practices identified in PMI�s PMBOK® Guide, in recent years).
• Five (5) years’ approved experience on leading IT team to deliver in-house or package acquisition solutions.
• Five (5) years’ experience on setting up project plan, meeting project timeline, providing project estimation, controlling cost and mitigating project risk.
Desired Skills:
• Of this experience, at least three (3) of the years should have been on medium to large technology projects, as defined by both size and complexity (size of projects may be defined in terms of budget, staff involvement, organizational impact, risk profile, complexity/number of stakeholders, and size of organization).
• Minimum three (3) years' experience leading and supporting multidisciplinary project teams consisting of internal staff from IT and clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience with project resource planning, including participation in project team resourcing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and manage complex relationships with groups/individuals with varying perspectives, interest and roles.
• Strong leadership, planning and analytic skills.
• Well-developed facilitation and mediation skills including ability to work with a diverse audience and reach a consensus on critical project decisions.
• The ability to undertake multiple projects, manage competing demand s, prioritize and adjust resources. Experience in procurement process include Request for information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP)
• Previous experience in large scale enterprise customer intake system, AI, process automation, and public sector. Familiar with Microsoft and cloud solution is plus
• Formal training and /or certification in project management (e.g., PMI Project Management Professional) is an asset.
