Responsibilities
âąTackle a large volume of backlogged bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
âąInvestigate discrepancies between internal records and bank statements, resolving issues efficiently
âąReconcile historical transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
âąCollaborate with internal stakeholders to support accurate financial reporting and process improvement
âąAssist with month-end and year-end close procedures
âąProvide reconciliation documentation for internal and external audit requirements
âąSupport the accounting team with other duties as required during the contract term
Qualifications
âąActively enrolled in the CPA PEP program (Would consider PREP as well)
âą3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
âąProven experience with complex or high-volume bank reconciliations, ideally involving backlog cleanup
âąDetail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
âąAbility to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
