The Interim HR Manager/Sr. HR Generalist will manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, policy development, payroll, compliance, and health & safety. The ideal candidate will have strong HR generalist experience, including employee relations and payroll processing. This role requires a hands-on HR professional who can effectively support employees and leadership during a transitional period.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviews, offer letters, and onboarding processes.
Payroll & Timesheets: Oversee payroll data entry, process bi-weekly payroll for Canadian and US employees, and manage timesheets, vacation requests, and leaves.
Employee Relations & Administration: Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure compliance with company policies.
HR Operations & Projects: Support HR initiatives, improve efficiency, maintain HR reports, and provide assistance with audits and internal documents.
Training & Communication: Lead HR policy communications, conduct training for new hires, and coordinate mandatory health and safety sessions.
Health & Safety: Coordinate health and safety activities, track metrics, and manage WSIB claims and accident reporting.
Qualifications:
HR Generalist expeirence, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Experience with End-to-End Payroll with salaried and hour employees.
Full Cycle Recruitment Experience.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Ontario and Canadian employment legislation.
CHRP/CHRL designation is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ADP Workforce Now, and ADP Run is a plus!
