Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate multiple business insurance policies, including general liability, property, workers' compensation, commercial auto, and other business-related coverages.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met, and providing timely updates on policy changes, renewals, and claims.
Review and assess business insurance policies to ensure they meet clients' needs and compliance requirements.
Provide advice and recommendations to clients on appropriate coverage options based on their business operations, risks, and objectives.
Process policy renewals, endorsements, and amendments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company guidelines.
Work closely with insurance carriers, underwriters, and brokers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms for new or renewal business policies.
Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, insurance documents, and policy details.
Handle claims coordination, working with clients and insurers to ensure claims are processed efficiently and to the clients' satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and new insurance products to provide clients with relevant and timely advice.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business insurance, with a strong understanding of commercial coverage types (e.g., liability, property, workers' comp, commercial auto).
Experience managing multiple insurance policies for different clients, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly to clients.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in policy management and documentation.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders.
Proficient in using insurance software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other office tools.
Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with a team, to achieve client and company goals.
