Responsibilities
• Lead and support advanced learning projects to deliver timely, impactful solutions that drive our client's business metrics.
• Distill and communicate complex concepts clearly, applying plain language principles.
• Collaborate with Course Owners and subject matter experts to gather content knowledge, identify performance gaps, and develop solutions within deadlines.
• Act as a trusted advisor and collaborative partner with Learning Business Partners, Designers, and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships to gather relevant data, analyze it, and present findings to support project goals.
• Design and develop engaging, interactive blended learning solutions to achieve learning objectives, aligning with client brand, accessibility standards, and diversity and inclusion principles.
• Utilize best practices in design, development, and training evaluation to enhance learning outcomes and manage scope, risks, and problem-solving.
• Provide expertise in learning and performance consulting, keeping up-to-date with best practices and trends in instructional design, development, and evaluation.
• Demonstrate adaptability, organization, and prioritization skills to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Protect organizational interests by identifying and managing risks, escalating concerns when necessary.
• Apply business acumen to build credibility and trust with business line clients.
Qualifications
• 5+ years as an Instructional Designer/Developer.
• Education in Instructional Design or Adult Learning.
• 2+ years in evaluation, measurement, or business analysis.
• Proficiency in survey and assessment design, with knowledge of Question Design best practices.
• Experience with WCAG 2.2 and testing via Freedom Scientific JAWS Screen Reader.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Articulate 360, and Vyond.
• Skills in creating accessible learning deliverables across modalities (eLearning, video, self-led materials).
• Experience with Qualtrics and LMS for assessment and survey development.
• Experience in Instructional Design within the financial sector is highly preferred.
• Certification in Training/Performance Evaluation from organizations like Kirkpatrick Partners, ATD, or Training Industry - preferred.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Camtasia - preferred.
• Background in process improvement or Lean Six Sigma - preferred.
• Commitment to staying current with industry trends in training design, development, and evaluation - preferred.
