Responsibilities
In this role, you'll be the frontline ambassador of our company, assisting clients, as well as both the inside and outside sales team with their inquiries, orders, and technical questions related to bearings and industrial parts. Your primary responsibilities will include:
-Customer Interaction by engaging with customers via phone and email to provide product information, process orders, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
-Technical Expertise and have a deep understanding of the products to offer knowledgeable assistance and guidance.
-Order management from inception to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment to meet customer expectations.
-Problem solving and collaborating with internal teams to address technical inquiries and provide solutions that meet customer requirements.
-Relationship building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
-Obtaining quotes and specs for all product orders, and scheduling deliveries when an issue arises as well as serve as a manager of the delivery team.
-Work with vendors to assure there is continuous education provided to employees.
-Work with employees to make sure they understand the vendor trainings and are able to fully explain product to customers.
-Maintain the status of all orders and advise staff of any progress and/or updates or back orders.
-Develop and implement procedures to assure the effective and efficient operation of the Customer Service/Inside Sales Department.
-Maintain a working knowledge of all products and warranties.
-Enforce company policies and procedures with Inside Sales.
-Open new customer accounts by reviewing account credit info provided.
Qualifications
-Previous experience in customer service and/or within the industrial sector, with experience in bearings and industrial parts necessary.
-Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
-Strong face-to-face communication skills for dealing with both customers, staff, vendors and executive level personnel.
-Strong leadership and team building skills including the ability to provide direction to team members.
-Must have strong organizational skills to keep themselves and employees on task and on target; as well as a great attention to detail.
-Math skills through algebra (at a minimum).
-Strong management skills, including the ability to provide direct communication regarding performance, providing support to, and taking decisive action with direct reports.
-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
-Proficient at utilizing laptop, PC, tablet and smart phone.
-Ability to track budget expenses.
-Minimum of one year supervisory experience.
-Highschool diploma at minimum.
