Responsibilities
Your role will involve:
Customer Engagement: Serve as a customer-focused technical sales professional, providing expert technical information and design/implementation guidance to clients and ecosystem partners eager to engage with our Innovation Centre.
AI-Driven Software Development: Drive the development of customized AI-powered solutions within the Centre, enhancing our offerings with advanced security measures.
Technology Expertise: Share your knowledge across Cisco's broad portfolio, including software, services, and AI technologies, offering strategic guidance on integrating solutions with Cisco architectures.
Solution Evaluation and Alignment: Assess partner solutions, ensuring alignment with Cisco's technology roadmap. Provide recommendations for fitting solutions within the Innovation Centre portfolio.
Infrastructure Design and Development: Innovate and build infrastructure to customize demonstration solutions in our Featured Vertical Room, showcasing the "Art of the Possible" with Cisco and partner technologies.
AI and Security Advocacy: Promote the integration of AI and security into customer solutions, emphasizing innovation and creativity.
Technical Conversations and Negotiation: Ability to engage in technical discussions and negotiate effectively.
Sales Partnership: Collaborate effectively with sales counterparts to enhance customer engagement and solution delivery.
Prioritization and Organization: Skillfully prioritize customer needs and organizational tasks to maximize efficiency and impact.
Qualifications
Experience: 5 to 7 years or equivalent experience in markets where Cisco competes, with a minimum of 2 years in field technical sales or systems engineering roles involving customer interaction.
Technical Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of AI, security, and emerging technologies such as Cloud, Data Center, Collaboration, and Network Programmability. Develop an expert understanding of Cisco architectures and services relevant to your vertical and customers.
Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about technological capabilities and limitations of key competitors and understand how to position Cisco products effectively.
Collaboration and Project Ownership: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal resources and key partners. Take ownership of projects related to your specialization and contribute to account planning strategies.
Customer-Centric Approach: Engage with customers to understand their business requirements, providing technical guidance and support to meet their needs.
Creative Problem Solving: Leverage your creativity to design innovative solutions and demonstrate proof-of-concept implementations.
Networking and Relationship Building: Use social media and networking skills to build relationships and foster sales, engaging local territory resources to enhance customer presence.
