Responsibilities
System Administration & Support
•Manage, configure, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, including Azure and data center environments.
•Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for infrastructure-related incidents.
•Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, security, and compliance.
Azure Migration Support
•Assist in the planning and execution of the organization's Azure Migration Project.
•Support migration tasks, including system assessments, workload transitions, and post-migration optimization.
•Collaborate with project teams to ensure a smooth transition to cloud services.
Configuration & Implementation
•Perform system setup, configuration, and maintenance across servers, storage, and networking components.
•Implement best practices for security, backup, and disaster recovery in both on-premises and cloud environments.
Qualifications
•VMware Administration – Proven experience managing and configuring VMware ESXi, vCenter, virtual machines, networking, and storage.
•Azure Expertise – Strong understanding of Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, ARM templates, and Azure portal navigation.
•Azure Migration – Hands-on experience with Azure Migrate for assessments and virtual machine replication.
•Networking – Proficiency in configuring VPNs, ExpressRoute, Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), and subnets. Experience with Meraki and Azure networking solutions.
•Security & Compliance – Ability to work with IT Security teams to implement Azure security best practices, IAM policies, encryption, and compliance requirements.
•Scripting & Automation – Skilled in PowerShell and Azure CLI for automation and infrastructure management.
•Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving – Strong diagnostic skills for resolving technical issues, particularly during migration projects.
•Active Directory & Identity Management – Experience integrating on-premises AD with Azure resources, including expertise in Azure AD Connect.
•DNS Management – Proficiency in managing domain names and ensuring proper name resolution.
•Application Gateway & WAF – Experience configuring Azure Application Gateway and Web Application Firewall (WAF) for secure web traffic management.
•Azure Firewall & Security Monitoring – Experience setting up and managing Azure Firewall rules; knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL) is a plus.
•Windows Administration – Strong background in managing and troubleshooting Windows-based workloads, including patch management, monitoring, and performance tuning.
•Application Proxy Configuration – Experience setting up and managing Azure AD Application Proxy for secure remote access to on-premises applications.
•Operating Systems – Proficiency in administering both Oracle Linux and Windows environments.
