Position: Industrial Painter/Sandblaster
Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Thursday (4 days, 10 hours)
Salary: $30-35/hour
Location: SE Calgary

Responsibilities
Ready to roll up your sleeves? Here's what you'll be doing:
Setting up, cleaning, and prepping surfaces for painting using air-powered sandblasting equipment.
Wiping away grease, dirt, old paint, and rust.
Applying protective coverings (paper, tinfoil, masking tape).
Mixing up the paint.
Painting new and used equipment using various tools (forklift, overhead crane, paint pumps, spray guns, brushes, rollers).
Applying stencils, striping, decals, and identifying information.
Doing touch-ups.
Keeping the paint and sandblasting equipment and facilities in great shape.
Keeping the workspace clean and organized.
Operating overhead crane and/or forklift (if you're certified!).
Qualifications
To rock this role, you'll need:
1-5 years of industrial painting and sandblasting experience (manufacturing experience is a plus!).
Experience with polyurethane, epoxy, and industrial enamel paint application.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
Experience sandblasting mining equipment is a asset
Physical ability to stoop, bend, grip, and work from heights.
Experience with zinc-based paint (asset).
Forklift and overhead crane experience (asset, preferably with certificate).
Manlift experience (asset, preferably with Fall Arrest training certificate).
