The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in troubleshooting, testing, inspection and repairs of many types of industrial equipment. This position requires you to have extensive exposure to maintenance, lockout procedures and be comfortable with working at heights while working on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and robotic systems.
The position requires working independently, as well as the ability to work shifts and overtime when needed.

Temporary to permanent full-time opportunity with OT
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday
Shifts: 9:00 pm to 5:00 am (Graveyard + overtime)
Wage: $35 to $45/hr + $1.50 night shift premium
You have Steel Toe Boots
Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting required
Industrial electrician ticket or equivalent, preferably RED seal
You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, test, inspect, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, lighting, PLCs, transformers, VFDs, etc.)
Complete work orders and manage spare parts using CMMS
Follow food safety procedures (SQF, GMPs, HACCP)
Support production teams with breakdown repairs
Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition
Investigate equipment failures and perform necessary repairs
Work with other team members and management to solve problems
Follow all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally in the food industry
Industrial controls experience (e.g., Allen Bradley PLC, Siemens PLC, VFD Drives, HMI, industrial networking)
Strong communication skills (English, both written and verbal)
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
Industrial electrician ticket (preferably RED seal)
Ability to work in noisy, dusty, and hazardous environments
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks like reaching, kneeling, and standing for long periods
Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided

Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
