Responsibilities
• Assemble and install prefabricated HVAC parts and sub-assemblies.
• Conduct testing and verify system operations to ensure functionality.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly procedures.
• Use hand and power tools effectively to complete assemblies.
• Maintain quality standards by adhering to company policies.
• Perform functional tests, troubleshoot issues, and record test data.
• Clean and organize the workspace regularly to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals.
• Operate machinery and material handling equipment (forklift license is an asset).
• Follow safety protocols and address production issues promptly.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or post-secondary education in mechanics, electrical, or a related field; relevant certificates (e.g., WHMIS, Safety Worker Awareness) are an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, engineering documents, and schematics.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Team-oriented, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting/moving up to 50 lbs, and comfortable working in environments with mechanical parts, moderate noise, and seasonal temperature variations.
• Familiarity with tools such as Multimeter, Flow Meter, and other mechanical measuring devices, along with basic knowledge of computer systems (e.g., SAP, MS Access, Excel)
