Responsibilities
The main responsibilities associated with this Human Resources Manager position in Boucherville are:
- Act as a strategic partner to managers by developing and deploying HR strategies aligned with the division's objectives
- Manage, develop, and engage the human resources team members
- Administer and enforce collective agreements while providing expert advisory services in labor relations
- Maintain constructive relationships with union representatives, ensure the smooth functioning of the bargaining unit, and represent the employer in contentious matters (grievances, disciplinary measures, legal proceedings, etc.)
- Provide strategic support in the interpretation and application of management policies and various labor laws
- Coordinate HR activities and optimize talent management processes, by overseeing the implementation of the Dayforce HRIS and its modules (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, engagement)
- Support managers in workforce planning and organizational development initiatives
Qualifications
The qualifications and skills sought for this Human Resources Manager role in Boucherville are:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management, Business Administration with a specialization in HR, or any equivalent training
- 5 to 10 years of experience in human resources and/or labor relations, as a generalist or strategic partner
- Significant experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
- Active member of the Order of CRHA or CRIA is a plus
- In-depth expertise in labor laws and total compensation practices
- Ability to navigate with agility in a context of organizational transformation and change
- Advanced English & French, as you will collaborate with partners in Canada and United States
- On-site work required 5 days a week
