This role involves close collaboration with the HR leadership team. You will act as an advisor to managers and employees across Drummondville, Longueuil, and Montreal, within a non-unionized group of approximately 200 employees. Salary: $80k to $100k annually
Responsibilities
Guide managers and supervisors on various HR aspects: values, engagement, training, development, performance management, attendance, health and safety, and compensation.
Promote and enforce HR policies and applicable legislation (labor law, health and safety, labor relations).
Support talent management initiatives: development, internal mobility, promotions, and succession planning.
Ensure organizational values are upheld while supporting business objectives with tailored HR programs and tools.
Manage recruitment and staffing activities in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.
Coordinate the onboarding process and support new employees for an optimal experience.
Foster employee engagement and a performance-driven culture by promoting the organization’s mission and values.
Contribute to improving and standardizing HR processes and oversee their implementation.
Participate in employee relations projects (work environment, recognition programs, health initiatives).
Oversee termination activities and outplacement services.
Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of progressive HR experience in operational, logistics, manufacturing, or related environments
Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes, and programs
Bilingual in French and English (required for communication across Canada, the US, the UK, and Australia)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as SAP and ADP
