Responsibilities
- Responsible for employee onboarding administration including pre-screening, contracts, and background checks for new hires, extensions and probations.
- Process new hires, including preparing offer letters, obtaining position numbers, inputting on orientation schedule and preparation of employee file.
- Ensure new hire paperwork is received and completed properly, including entering I9 eligibility information is entered into system within 3 days of hire.
- Responsible for retrieving and reviewing background checks received from our third party administrator and resolving any discrepancies noted.
- Conduct pre-employment new hire background checks such as OFAC/OFSI.
- Process SAP changes including transfer employees between transits, open new transits on SAP, process title change, etc.
- Work with our external immigration legal counsel regarding all aspects of VISA/immigration related issues.
- Prepare and process invoices for signature.
- Create and produce various reports as requested.
- Process termination notices to ensure employees are terminated from SAP in a timely manner.
- Preparation of new hire and termination kits.
- Distribute quarterly loan statements for staff loans.
- Arrange events and off-site meetings.
- Assist with the year-end process.
- Assists with special projects as assigned.
- Provide back up support for other HR team members.
- Ensure processes are completed and identify process improvements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED- 2-4 years recent relevant prior HR experience- Experience working in a fast-paced working environment- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task effectively- High level of professionalism with and familiar with working with confidential information- Proficient time management and organizational skills- High level customer service and people skills- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
