Responsibilities
HR Strategy: Advise management on HR policies, employee relations, and legal compliance, ensuring that people practices align with business goals.
Recruitment & Retention: Manage the full recruitment cycle and develop strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
Employee Relations: Work closely with managers to address HR issues, foster employee engagement, and build high-performing teams.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience for employees at both entry and exit points.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure HR practices are compliant with relevant legislation and generate key reports for management to track HR performance and legal adherence.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in HR or Related Field: A foundational qualification in Human Resources or a similar discipline.
7+ Years of HR Experience: Extensive experience in various HR functions, with a strong understanding of Canadian HR practices.
2+ Years of Team Management: Proven experience leading and mentoring HR team members to ensure high performance and efficient operations.
Strong Communication & Leadership Skills: Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and lead HR initiatives.
