At our facility in Ashland you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging Group as the HR Manager :
Oversee and manage operational functions in a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with human resources policies and regulatory requirements, including compensation and benefits management, health management, talent management, and leave administration.
Act as a trusted partner to support business budgetting as well as workforce and succession planning
Provide performance management and workforce development coaching and consulting to the operations and administrative leadership team.
Lead the attract and retain strategy and the monthly, quarterly, and annual Cascades HR initiatives.
Facilitate reporting from HR analytics, monthly HR & company initiatives, and announcements.
Represent Cascades Containerboard Packaging at community and corporate events and meetings (USA/Canada)
Promote change management initiatives through proactive communication and relationship building
Introduce and support continuous improvement concepts while providing the guidance and oversite to reach intended objectives.

You too, put forward your strengths:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or related field.
3+ years’ experience of related professional human resource leadership experience
Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the US and the State of Virginia
Proficient in MS Office and experience with HRIS systems such as Success Factors
Leadership experience in Human Resources, specifically supporting a diverse industrial workforce
Strong analytical, organizational and communications skills and ability to set priorities
Leadership and expertise in promoting buy-in to proposed solutions and change
Be eligible to travel for business to Canada
