In this role, you’ll work closely with the Senior Director of Human Resources, North America, providing critical HR support across key areas, including HR policies, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and safety. This role is ideal for someone with strong generalist experience, a proactive approach, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
Provide support across HR functions, including policy management, recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations.
Partner with the Senior HR Director on strategic HR programs and projects.
Manage bi-weekly payroll processing for 250 employees.
Address payroll inquiries and issues, ensuring compliance with Canadian payroll laws.
Oversee disability claims and serve as co-chair for the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC).
Lead compliance with safety and legislative requirements for employee health.
Support annual performance review processes, guiding supervisors on compliance and completion.
Qualifications
5-7 years of HR Generalist experience, ideally within manufacturing.
CHRP designation or in progress (Ontario).
Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS is an asset.
Solid knowledge of the Ontario Employment Standards Act.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service focus.
