Responsibilities
-Work closely with business leaders to understand their goals, challenges, and priorities, translating these into actionable HR strategies.
-Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives that support the business strategy, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and succession planning.
-Be involved in the recruitment process, helping to attract and hire top talent, as well as ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
-Provide guidance to managers on performance management processes, including setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
-Address employee relations issues, such as conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
-Ensure that HR practices are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, revising policies as needed.
-Focus on creating a positive and engaging work environment, promoting employee satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
-3+ years HRBP experience
-Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
-Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Safety, Training, Business Administration, or related field. A certification in HR such as CPHR will be an asset.
-Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
-Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
-Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
-Understanding of recruiting methods and best practices.
-Familiar with the design and implementation of full-cycle performance management programs.
-Valid driver’s license required.
-Experience working with an ATS and HRIS and payroll systems. UKG preferred.
-Ability to pass a criminal back check upon hire.
