Our client in southern Alberta (near the Red Deer area) is looking for Journeyman ( including Red Seal) Heavy Duty Off Road Mechanics. If you are a self-driven professional with a knack for problem-solving and customer service, this job might be what you're looking for.

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
Mobile Repair: Perform on-site repairs to minimize downtime for our clients during the busy season.
Shop Repair: Conduct in-shop maintenance and repair work, particularly in the off-season.
Work on a variety of agricultural machinery including combines, tractors, balers, seeders, and implements.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients to understand their repair needs.
Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Technical: Conduct routine maintenance checks and services to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment. Perform complete overhauls on engines, transmissions, and other major components.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex hydraulic systems. Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, and electronic components.
Fabrication and Welding: Perform minor welding and fabrication as needed to repair or modify equipment.
Qualifications
What you bring:
Journeyman or Red Seal certification in heavy-duty mechanics - Off Road (Heavy Equipment Technician)
Experience with agricultural equipment is highly preferred.
Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently with limited oversight, and excellent customer service capabilities.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, software, and technical manuals.
