Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the Heavy Road Vehicle Mechanic Position:
- Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for maintenance needs.
- Perform regular maintenance on trucks, including oil changes, part replacements, and other types of servicing.
- Restore trucks to roadworthy condition by following an inspection checklist.
- Update and maintain service history records.
- Adhere to the health and safety program and practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications for the Heavy Road Vehicle Mechanic Position:
- 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience.
- Candidates with automotive mechanic experience will be considered
- DEP in heavy road vehicle mechanics and/or construction equipment or equivalent (an asset)
- Oral and written French required, bilingualism is an asset
- Must be autonomous, resourceful, and professional
