Responsibilities
What you will do in this role as a Health and Safety Advisor:
- Foster a culture of safety
- Implement our policies: you will help ensure compliance with local and provincial regulations, as well as OSHA (American Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards
- Assist the team in understanding safety regulations
- Analyze safety incidents
- Support the management of workplace accidents
- Prepare monthly reports
- Train our teams
- Lead our safety meetings
- Manage incidents: record and monitor accidents and injuries in our database
- Conduct audits: you will perform compliance audits at our various sites in --Quebec to ensure everything is in order
- Other related tasks
Qualifications
What you need for this Health and Safety Advisor position:
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar role
- Advanced English (extensive communication in English with the Canadian and American teams)
- A car to get to the site with a valid driver's license
