Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the GSOC Manager, coordinate intelligence collection and analysis across a large global organization in support of the organization’s global security requirements:
• Monitors data from various sources to identify threats and evaluate opportunities around the world
• Provides reports to the relevant Corporate Security Teams and partners
• Evaluates and diagnoses situations, applies critical thinking and coordinates with other team members as required
• Prepares threat intelligence reports and analysis as required
• Coordinates incident-specific intelligence alerts and rapid turnaround report requests
• Develops a close familiarity with global operations, key personnel and working culture
• Monitors global events in real time for general awareness and issues that could impact operations
• Conducts incisive analysis and forecasting on geopolitical and security issues, monitors country threat ratings and draws from multiple intelligence sources to plan operations in confidence
• Develops and issues, under supervision, intelligence communications regarding global events with potential to impact staff or operations
• Recognizes situations and initiates protective action using independent judgment and professional training in accordance with incident management best practices, policies and standard operating procedures
• Supports incident and crisis management teams during a security event as required
• Supports complex investigations and conducts basic investigations upon request
• Accountable for delivery and accuracy of analytics and reporting, including executive reporting on data and trends that are used by partners to set both strategic and tactical plans for improvement.
Qualifications
Must Have Requirement:
1. 2+ years of experience as a GSOC Analyst/threat intelligence/threat Analyst/Investigator (Not looking for a security guard)
2. Experience preparing threat intelligence reports and analysis
Nice to Have:
1. Previous FI experience
Soft Skills:
- Very keen on learning
- General interest in this field
- Able to work independently
- General sense of curiosity
- Worldly knowledge
