General Labourer

Position: General Labourer
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Salary: $21/hour (based on experience)
Location: South Edmonton

Responsibilities
Assist welders in preparing materials, setting up equipment, and cleaning work areas.
Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from worksites.
Operate hand and power tools for cutting, grinding, and other pre-welding tasks.
Perform basic material preparation tasks such as deburring, sanding, or cleaning metal surfaces.
Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Monitor inventory of materials and report shortages to supervisors.
Support general labor activities, including lifting, moving, and setting up components.
Inspect and maintain welding tools and equipment as directed.

Qualifications
Previous experience in a welding or laborer role is an asset but not required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn welding techniques.
Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
Physically fit with the ability to lift up to [insert weight] lbs.
Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
