Rate of Pay: $35/hour to $40/hour
Shift Coverage: 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM (and) 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
Project Duration: 3 months
Start Date: January 18, 2025
Location: Vancouver Downtown

Responsibilities
• Physical stamina: Stand and move for up to 90% of the shift, maintaining speed and efficiency.
• Heavy lifting: Safely lift and maneuver carts, linens, totes, flatbed carts, and dollies on flat surfaces and ramps.
• Load transport: Carry heavy, awkward items (e.g., food, supplies, décor) across various distances.
• Stair climbing: Regularly climb stairs while transporting items between facility levels.
• Equipment operation: Safely operate pallet jacks for large shipments (training provided).
• Team collaboration: Work closely with teams to ensure smooth freight operations.
• Adaptability: Quickly adjust to changing workflows and priorities.
Qualifications
• Standing and walking: Be prepared to stand and walk for up to 90% of the shift, requiring endurance and agility.
• Heavy lifting and maneuvering: Safely lift and move bulky items using proper techniques, maintaining focus on body mechanics.
• Carrying awkward loads: Safely transport heavy or awkward items, such as food, consumables, and décor.
• Climbing stairs: Frequent use of leg muscles and balance while carrying items up and down stairs.
• Pallet jack operation: Training will be provided for the safe operation of pallet jacks.
