General Accountant

Responsibilities
- Preparing and posting journal entries.
- Preparing trail balances
- Reconciliations of credit card statements, bank accounts, intercompany accounts.
- Preparing and Filing HST
- Assisting with financial statement prep
- Any project accounting or work-in-progress billings is also an asset to support the VP of project accounting

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, including month-end activities
- Experience using mid to large ERP
- Previous experience in construction/engineering is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
