Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
- Set up and operate McElroy fusion welding equipment
- Inspect and maintain equipment for proper operation
- Ensure all welding work meets quality and safety standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time
- Travel required – Must be able to work out of town when needed
- Valid driver’s license and clean abstract required
- Must be able to pass D&A tests for out of town work
Qualifications
- Experience with plastic fusion welding, specifically McElroy fusion machines
- Strong knowledge of fusion welding techniques
- Mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
