Opportunity: Full time, Temporary with potential to become permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $23/hour
Location: Near downtown, Victoria
Advantages

Responsibilities
• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, handling inquiries professionally
• Oversee office operations, including supply management and meeting coordination
• Organize and manage internal meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items
• Coordinate daily team lunches, ensuring proper setup and clean-up
• Assist with event planning and execution at the presentation centre
• Provide refreshments for the principal and team
• Draft correspondence, compile data, and create reports as requested
• Maintain discretion when handling confidential information
• Provide administrative support to the CEO and team for various projects
• Handle light bookkeeping, including tracking expenses and managing invoices
Qualifications
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams (including meeting coordination)
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive
• Ability to interact with high-profile clients and executives with professionalism
• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred
• Experience in administration, office management, or hospitality is an asset
