At our facility in Etobicoke you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Recovery team as the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor :
- Split your weeks between the Scarborough and Etobicoke locations
- Provide daily assistance and direction to Garage Maintenance staff related to work load, EMS monitoring, parts requirements and inventory
- Ensure that all service and maintenance practices meet the regulatory requirements for the MTO, MOL, and the MOE
- Plan, organize and control equipment for the fabrication shop, in conjunction with the Transportation Department and Plant Facilities
- Work with repair facilities to coordinate and control the daily scheduling of service and repair of all equipment
- Work with the garage staff daily to provided safe, reliable and available equipment with focus on quality of repair and shop productivity
- Complete all required Preventative Maintenance and Repair documents and provide updates
- Provide continued communication to all related departments relative to equipment status (out of service, repair status, and roadside assistance)
- Work with all departments relative to accident and incident investigations
- Ensure that all staff meet the timekeeping requirement follow up on all timekeeping issues as they arise
- Willing to take on-call duties
- Plan, organize and control purchase services in order to minimize operation impact and reduce equipment downtime
- Ensure safety equipment are kept in good working condition
- Complete daily job briefing to provide staff with information about safety, equipment repairs, productivity, and availability

- Minimum 3-5 years experience in the transportation industry
- Minimum 3-5 years experience truck / trailer maintenance
- Experience in a supervisory or lead hand role
- Computer Proficiency
- 310T License required
- Clean CDL License
