Responsibilities
The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services:
•Analyze, design, and implement enhancements to meet business requirements (regulatory driven and technology evergreening)
•Perform technical and root-cause analysis on issues and make recommendation for correction.
•Promote development practices such as test-driven development and DevOps.
•Adopt and champion the current frameworks that have been built to automate and modernize the Findur application.
•Other related activities and deliverables, as required
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Skills:
•University degree or college diploma in computer science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
•A minimum of three (5) years of demonstrated experience with Java-based application development using Eclipse IDE, preferably with Oracle RDBMS in the backend.
•A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience with RDBMS databases, solid understanding of SQL.
•Demonstrated experience in supporting applications with high-criticality, availability, reliability, and security requirements.
•Demonstrated experience with Findur or Endur.
Additional Qualifications
The following will also be considered:
•Demonstrated experience with Agile projects (SCRUM)
•Demonstrated experience with performance testing.
•Demonstrated experience with financial applications/systems.
•Demonstrated experience with data warehouses.
•Demonstrated experience with DevOps (Jenkins, GitHUB)
