Responsibilities
The Financial Controller is responsible for the complete management of the company's financial and accounting operations. He plays a key role in the preparation of financial statements, process optimization, financial performance analysis and compliance with accounting standards. He works closely with management to support the company's growth and profitability.
- Oversee all accounting operations, including monthly and annual closing.
- Implement and improve accounting processes to ensure efficient and accurate data.
- Manage cash and cash flow to optimize liquidity and funding needs.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
- Produce detailed financial reports and KPIs to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve margins.
- Participate in the financial evaluation of new products, markets and potential acquisitions.
- Implement strong internal controls to prevent financial and accounting risks.
- Improve the automation and efficiency of financial processes through ERP software and reporting tools.
- Optimize the integration between accounting tools and SaaS platforms (CRM, invoicing, subscription management, etc.)
Qualifications
- Degree in accounting, finance or related field (CPA or in the process of obtaining a diploma is an asset).
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in accounting/finance
- Strong understanding of accounting standards
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial analysis software
- Experience in team management and financial process improvement.
