Responsibilities
• Reporting: Provide reporting and insightful analytical support to CIBC Strategic Business Units and/or CIBC Lines of Business. Responsible for the development and maintenance of Reporting models and Reports to support deliverables for our Finance Business Support partners.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing the reports that are produced with a view to rationalize, standardize, optimize, and digitize.
• Collaboration: Develop and maintain productive and collaborative internal business partner/stakeholder relationships.
• Value Add: Contribute to a high-performing team environment by optimizing individual capabilities to realize value-add reporting services for business partners.
Qualifications
Must Have Requirement:
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or a business degree
• Intermediate/advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Required Excel skills:
○ Embedded IF Statements
○ HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP
○ OFFSET
○ Pivot Tables
• 4+ years of experience in similar roles
• Financial software
○ Hyperion
○ Oracle General Ledger Data Model (GLDM)
Nice to Have:
• Knowledge of or direct experience with Power BI
• Knowledge of or direct experience with Alteryx
• Ultra SX **
• SAP Experience (LOB Is transitioning to SAP. Having a SME on the software is a strong nice to have)
• Previous CIBC experience or FI exp
• Ability to navigate Tableau
