We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a leading manufacturing organization in Brantford, Ontario. This role serves as the financial expert within the plant, working closely with site management, regional teams, and the finance organization to ensure accurate financial reporting, control costs, and drive business performance. As part of the local plant leadership team, you will play a crucial role in advising decision-makers and optimizing operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic financial advisor to the management team, supporting short-term and long-term decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a cutting-edge manufacturing facility
- Serve as a financial steward, ensuring all plant costs are justified and aligned with financial targets
- Conduct financial analysis, focusing on material variance, scrap, rework, and raw material yield
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities
- Provide real-time financial insights to drive efficiency improvements, cost savings, and process optimizations
- Support month-end close activities by staying closely connected to the plant’s financial performance
- Develop investment proposals and liaise with key stakeholders on capital projects
- Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, or a similar function
- SAP experience is a plus
- Experience in a multinational company, preferably in the B2B or food manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of financial methodologies and reporting
- Analytical, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong team collaboration abilities, including cross-functional teamwork
- Ability to travel, up to 10%
