Responsibilities
-Support monthly and quarterly Basel III RWA/BCAR reporting and quarterly public disclosures.
-Learn and execute senior analysts' tasks, transitioning into an oversight role.
-Provide guidance on Basel III guidelines and review Wealth Canada reconciliations.
-Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Basel III reporting, including BCAR and Pillar 3 disclosures.
-Conduct timely review of inputs, supporting documents, and analysis for BCAR regulatory capital.
-Assist other desks within the Basel Reporting team as needed.
-Participate in projects and system testing related to new regulatory requirements.
-Identify and implement process improvements and control enhancements.
-Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications
Must Have:
-7+ years of financial accounting and reporting experience.
-Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
-Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
-Excellent communication skills with experience in stakeholder management.
-Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros, and advanced functions).
Nice to Have:
-Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA/CPA) (strongly preferred).
-Experience with Basel capital frameworks.
-Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and FCCS.
