We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join a highly skilled team.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-tier on-site support to their manufacturing customers for the installation, repair, and maintenance of machines and systems, primarily within Ontario, and occasionally in the USA and Italy.

The ideal Field Service Technician will have experience in the steel fabrication industry, with a strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
A flexible attitude and willingness to travel is a must.

Advantages
Hourly rate based on experience and skill $50+
Overtime after 40hours (x1.5) + DOUBLE on weekends
Car allowance + KM Package

Lap top computer + Mobile phone.
Responsibilities
Service calls from customers (always from your residence)
Troubleshooting,
Installations,
Preventative Maintenance,
Inspections
Repairs,
Qualifications
Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronic, Electronic or similar qualification
Track record in CNC machine tool fault finding and repair.
Understanding of metalworking processes (milling, drilling, machining, sawing, plasma or oxy fuel torch cutting)
Able to read and understand electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematic drawings.
Travel is a crucial part of this role;
The ability to travel across East and Central Canada
Passport eligible to travel to US and Europe for training
