Responsibilities
Conduct small repairs, physical moves, and minor construction activities, including office and production equipment relocation and installation.
Ensure regular maintenance of building systems and escalate issues requiring external contractors to the Facilities Manager.
Perform hands-on maintenance tasks such as carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, and minor electrical work.
Monitor and make adjustments to systems and equipment, including gauges, HVAC, extractors, boilers, sump pumps, and water treatment systems
Qualifications
3 years in construction or facilities management, ideally in a manufacturing environment but not required
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, measuring tools, and gauges
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform moderate physical tasks (e.g., standing, bending, reaching)
Excellent customer service skills, particularly in addressing complaints and employee requests
Skilled in operating motorized equipment
