Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
đź’ˇAnalyze and review tender documents, architectural, mechanical, and structural drawings, and specifications.
đź’ˇSupport the Sales Team by reviewing and verifying specifications and identifying discrepancies.
đź’ˇPrepare RFIs and requests for equal submissions to architects, consultants, and contractors.
đź’ˇConduct accurate quantity surveys of products using Excel spreadsheets and electronic or physical drawings.
đź’ˇDevelop and maintain cost estimates for materials and labor using pre-established and newly created spreadsheets.
đź’ˇUpdate and improve material, labor, and service cost databases by liaising with suppliers and the manufacturing department.
đź’ˇTrack and schedule projects being tendered or quoted.
đź’ˇPrepare quotations, budget proposals, and bid/tender forms for submission by the Sales Team.
đź’ˇProvide technical support to the Sales Department and assist in bidding strategies and negotiations.
đź’ˇCoordinate with the production team for material procurement and project execution.

Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table
âś…Education & Experience: Minimum Architectural Technologist Diploma, Mechanical Engineer Degree or equivalent.
âś…Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction and working drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
âś…Software Proficiency: Experience with AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PDF applications.
âś…Estimating Expertise: Familiarity with estimating and take-off software.
âś…Industry Knowledge: Understanding of building envelope systems and fabrication processes for products made from various metals, particularly aluminum extrusions.
âś…Communication Skills: Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
âś…Attention to Detail: Ability to produce precise shop drawings and fabrication layout documents.
âś…Problem-Solving: Ability to proactively identify project needs, clarifications, and cost-effective solutions.
