Responsibilities
Duties for the Estimator Assistant include;
- Support the estimating department as needed.
- Record information and efficiently manage tracking logs for the estimating team.
- Assist the lead estimator in preparing estimates that subsequently evolve into quotes, with training on our processes provided. Send confirmations to
customers in a timely manner.
- Engage in sourcing activities by contacting suppliers to inquire about available stock.
- Expedite order processing by printing invoices, packing slips, and generating labels.
Qualifications
- Excellent math skills and proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills; strong attention to detail.
