Location: South Surrey, BC
Position: Temporary full time (4-6 weeks)
Shift and Times:
Monday to Friday
AM shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
AM shift (9:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
PM shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM)

Responsibilities
• Work under supervision and direction of department Supervisor and team lead
• Help to efficiently carry out all Distribution Centre tasks with the use of Powered MHE
• Follow all policies and procedures related to powered equipment, including inspections, safety checks, routine maintenance and training
• Scan and track incoming and outgoing orders
• Receive and process new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documents
• Inspect receivables for defects, damages or missing items
• Properly scan and inventory incoming goods
• Perform detailed manual inventory counts as required
• Label warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval
• Pick , prepare, package and label goods for shipment
• Double-check items to verify the accuracy of outgoing orders
• Load and unload product to and from trailers and containers by using Powered MHEs and/or manually
• Keep workplace clean and tidy (general housekeeping)
• Ensure tools and equipment are kept clean and in working order
• Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to upper management
• Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations at all times
• Wear protective clothing and equipment as required
• Work with other Distribution Centre team members to effectively complete assigned tasks
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Ability and certification to operate Powered MHEs i.e. Order Picker, Turret Truck, Reach Truck, Clamp Truck, walkie rider and Forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to follow precise verbal and written instructions
• Good organizational skills
• Must be able to read, write, speak and receive instruction and directions in English
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
