Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.

- Maintain records on waste management, air emissions, and water quality.
- Review EHS KPIs to identify improvement areas.
- Support permit submissions and prepare regulatory reports.
- Drive continuous improvement by recommending best practices.
- Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections.
- Assist in EHS training development and delivery.
- Investigate incidents and recommend preventive measures.
- Submit regulatory environmental and safety reports.
- Manage hazardous materials handling and disposal.
- Support sustainability and waste reduction programs.
- Develop a Green Team to reduce environmental impact.
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in an EHS-related role, preferably in manufacturing.
- EHS designation (e.g., EP, CRSP, AE, CET) is an asset.
- Strong understanding of environmental and occupational health and safety legislation.
- Experience with the Environmental Protection Act and Ontario health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Experience with employee wellness programs and health promotion activities.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
