Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental and sustainability initiatives into our operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and contributing to cost savings through waste management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct GAP analysis of permits and legislation
- Perform environmental risk assessments (ERA)
- Lead and manage the environmental management system (EMS)
- Report and analyze environmental incidents
- Manage waste and ensure certification and audits are executed
- Develop and deliver training to operators and technicians
- Engage with stakeholders to promote environmental culture
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of environmental management systems, environmental aspects, permits, and regulations
- Proven project management skills, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management
- Analytical thinking skills to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
- Familiarity with local environmental regulations and ISO 14001 standards
