Responsibilities
• Execute email marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including development, campaign setup, scheduling, testing, quality assurance, and deployment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and email marketing standards, and apply new solutions as they arise.
• Advocate for the continuous improvement of email features, processes, and automation to enhance customer experiences and workflows.
• Conduct A/B testing to optimize subject lines, layouts, and creative assets for better open and click-through rates.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure campaigns are accurate, timely, and impactful.
• Develop and maintain Distributed Marketing content blocks for email campaigns.
• Uphold email best practices while adhering to RBC Wealth Management brand standards.
• Create and update email templates and journeys within the platform.
• Contribute to the organization and documentation of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem.
• Work closely with the Manager of Digital Messaging to streamline efficiencies and automate processes for email campaigns.
Qualifications
• 2–4 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a similar platform.
• Proficiency in Automation Studio and Journey Builder.
• Expertise in email deployment best practices, data analytics, segmentation, and dynamic content.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and AMPscript (or similar) for email development.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks efficiently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset, with reliability, flexibility, and a team-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of privacy laws (CASL, CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
• Salesforce Email Marketing Specialist Certification.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Cloud Pages, and JavaScript.
