Position Title: Red Seal Electrician
Institutional 18 month contract
Location: Vancouver, BC
Immediate Full-time opportunity with OT
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shifts: morning and afternoon shifts
Wage: $47.97
Unionized position; opportunity to support other projects after completion date
A Red Seal Electrician certification is required
Commercial or residential build experience is an asset in this role
You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia

Responsibilities
Install wiring, conduits, and systems (e.g., fire alarms, security, lighting controls).
Mount electrical equipment and wire control systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits.
Make decisions on-site and mentor apprentices.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Know and understand workplace health and safety rights and responsibilities.
Use the protective clothing, devices, and equipment required for the job.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a commercial construction setting
Proficiency with sequence pathway conduits
Red Seal Electrician License.
Valid WAH and WHMIS certifications.
Reliable transportation (public transit or bike route).
Strong communication skills (English, both written and verbal)
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to work in noisy, dusty, and hazardous environments
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks like reaching, kneeling, and standing for long periods
Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided
Promote company values in people, quality, and growth
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
